About Little Lamb Preschool

Little Lamb Preschool is a Christ-centered early childhood learning center for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. We have a nurturing, fun-filled learning environment in which God's Word is woven into our daily activities. The Mission of Little Lamb Preschool is to:

- Teach young children about God's love and his plan of salvation.
- Share God's Word through daily, fun-filled activities.
- Guide the children in applying their faith to life and sharing their faith with others.
- Provide a quality educational and social experience in a safe and friendly setting.

Little Lamb Preschool is responsible to the St Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church council of elders, which in turn is responsible to the congregation.

Meet Our Teachers

The educators at Little Lamb Preschool go above and beyond to provide their students with a fulfilling school year. Co-director Gina Loete has been at Little Lamb since 2004, and co-director Becca Thornton joined our team in 2019. Both educators have an extensive knowledge of early childhood education and development and love using that information to spread God's Word.

Work Experience — I am just getting started here at Little Lamb! I have spent the last several years at home with my young children. I also worked at a chocolate store for over 8 years!

The Early Years — I was born and raised in Normal. Fun Fact: I attended Little Lamb Preschool when I was 3 and 4!

Family — I am married to Ty, who works security and serves in the Army Reserves. We have three kids. Our son, Tayvon, was born in 2015, our older daughter, Kaydence, was born in 2017, and our younger daughter, Hayzel, was born in 2021.

Education — I graduated from Illinois State University in 2015 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I also have a minor in psychology.

Hobbies — I spend much of my free time with my family. We enjoy going on walks and playing outside. My family is big into football. Go Steelers! I also consider myself to be a crafty person. When I find the time, I like to scrapbook, design, cook, and bake.
